The company is owned and operated by Directors Tudor and Sylvia Williams. Tudor Williams is a registered consultant on HSE’s consultants register and a Chartered Safety Practitioner. With many years experience providing a range of health and safety services across many sectors you can be assured that you will receive a thorough and professional service.

 

Tudor Williams

Tudor Williams established DTD Training in 1997. Under his direction the company has developed an impressive portfolio of training programmes, consultancy services and assistance to its clients. A consultant on the HSEs consultant register Tudor specialises in support for the Education and Work Based Learning sectors. Tudor has forged constructive working relationships with Education and Work Based Learning networks throughout the UK and supports several with attendance at network meetings, provision of advice and guidance, submissions for newsletters and importantly delivering a wide range of health and safety seminars and training events to member companies.

Tudor continues to develop the business to be a constructive and reliable support to its customers. As a consultant Tudor works closely with his clients, advising and guiding on areas of compliance as well as developing strategies in conjunction with the client to introduce effective management systems and supporting arrangements.

Sylvia Williams

Sylvia worked in the education sector for 27 years before joining DTD Training Ltd. in 2005.

During her time in education she taught at all stages and developed new national qualifications as well as being responsible for work experience and work based learning.

She developed the 3 day IOSH accredited Supervising Safely in Education and Work Based Learning, based on her extensive experiences of working with the sector. This programme is being complemented by a new 1 day programme, again developed by Sylvia based on her knowledge and experience of the sector.

Her work involves working closely with clients, delivering a wide range of training programmes, mentoring candidates, and assessing the level 3 Occupational Health and Safety NVQ and stand alone units.

What We Offer

DTD offers a wide range of  services that support businesses and organisations from many sectors.  We work with trade organisations, business groups, large national employers and small start up businesses locally.

 We are pleased to offer a great variety of training programmes including those approved by IOSH, City& Guilds and CIEH. Our programmes include several that are designed for specific sectors and some that are exclusive to DTD Training. Our training programmes also cover certificated national programmes delivered to leaders and directors, managers and supervisors as well as a wide range of entry and foundation level qualifications.
